YENDA Blueheelers coach Roy Romeo admits his side will take some time to truly gel despite a 30-14 win over Harden in their first trial match of the pre-season on Saturday.

New signing Tom Sellars was among the try-scorers as the 'Heelers blew the cobwebs out in positive fashion in Harden, but Romeo said it will be some time before we know what Yenda are truly capable of.
Kenny Tata was another recruit to have featured but the likes of forward trio Jarrad Williams, Kodie Charles and Ben Vitucci were all absent.
"We'll take a while to gel because we've got quite a few new players we nearly had a whole new side out on the field, and there were plenty missing, too," Romeo said.
"There's some very positive signs but a lot to work on as well.
"We got lost a bit in some patches but also looked good in patches. That's normal for this time of year.
"But we'll get there slowly, and we should be good for the Group 20 knockout this weekend."
Romeo said the Blueheelers' strength this year will be in the big bopper department.
"Our forwards played really good. Kenny, Anfo and Damien Payne all went alright," he said.
"We've got a very mobile pack and we'll be able to match it with any pack in the comp."
