And she is about to get the opportunity to after the Griffith toddler landed a contract with Bettina Child Modelling in Sydney.

It's been a tough road for Ms Philp, who tragically lost her first daughter Jyelah during a difficult birth in 2009.

But one year after her traumatic loss, Ms Philp gave birth to baby Lijanah, who she says has been "the best thing in the world".

"I can't help but think she's a godsend - she was an easy baby and she has been an easy kid," Ms Philp said.

"I was worried because I didn't know how I would react if I had a boy and I developed post natal depression after Lijanah was born, but I couldn't have asked for a better kid."

The outgoing child with an "enormous personality" loves to sing and dance, and is a natural at playing up to the camera.

With that in mind, Ms Philp finally heeded comments from friends that Lijanah should be given the opportunity to share her talent with the world.

Two months ago, Ms Philp travelled to Sydney for an interview with the talent agency and the next day received the call that Lijanah had made it.

"They were just overwhelmed by her personality - she's really bright and out-there," she said.

"She has beautiful big eyes and she sings a lot and dances, she was really cooperative for the camera."

Lijanah's grandmother Michelle Druitt, who demanded an inquiry into Jyelah's death saying it could have been prevented had an obstetrician been present at the Moruya Hospital during the birth, adores her granddaughter.

"She just has so much happiness and brightness," Mrs Druitt said.

"We just want to show her off."
