TV launch signalled new world
4:00 AM | WHEN Bruce Walkley flew into Launceston yesterday, he was watching a baseball match from the US live beamed onto the headrest screen on the plane. When he was news officer at Launceston's TNT9 studios 50 years ago, he would have to wait at least three days to see footage of the game.
