YANCO-Wamoon coach Warren Weir said he was going to take a leaf out of the Yenda Blueheelers' playbook this weekend, when he attempts to stop the unbeaten streak of the competition leaders at Yanco Sportsground this weekend.

Weir said he planned to use the simple but effective formula that the Blueheelers have been able to implement better than any other side this season.

"Yenda's got a core of players that have been there a few years and that has kept them going, and if you look at Group 20 most clubs only have about four or five players from one season to the next and we're basically the same," Weir said.

"We just need to do to them (Yenda) what they do to us and everybody else, complete sets they get to their kicks and they speed the ruck up and we did that really well that last time we played them."

The blockbuster clash throws up plenty of mouth-watering clashes across the park including the two of the most dominant packs in the competition, combined with two electric backlines that have at times left their opposition in their wake with massive scorelines.

Weir said he was confident of being the first side to sing its team song against Yenda this season, saying his players will shake off its form slump of the last two rounds.

"We only just beaten by two points over there (Yenda) in the first round by two points on the siren so I think we were hard done by to not get the win that day," he said.
