Ashley was a part of the under 15s female team, which finished 18th in the world. She was also the youngest of the three in the squad.

30 Dec 11 | DESPITE the multiple temptations of the Christmas season there was still a keen turnout of seventy runners for the first of the Griffith Joggers holiday series of runs on Scenic Hill on Christmas Eve. For this series, runners are sent off in two-minute groupings with the aim to be as sociable as possible, the course varies according to the whims of the weather and there are no course markings, so runners need a good mental picture of the map before they take off.
Grants lend a helping hand to young guns

One not showing any signs of weariness was Fletcher Josling who rounded up the field to take line honours from the back of the field in 25.49.
14 Dec 11 | DARTNELLS Building has made a push for the top spot in division three women's touch football, after putting MV Trenching to the sword 16-1 at Ted Scobie Oval. Possessing too much skill and speed for their opponents, Dartnells had the game wrapped up by half-time, but to MV's credit they never dropped their heads.
Concreting cements second ladder spot
14 Dec 11 | G&C Concreting has leap-frogged Colla Bros into second place in division three of Griffith men's touch football after a comfortable 8-3 win at Ted Scobie Oval on Monday night. The final margin is no indication of the closeness of the contest, as Colla Bros looked threatening in several attacking raids, but fell short in not being able to capitalise on their chances.
12 Dec 11 | GRIFFITH squash minor premiers Hunter were unceremoniously bundled out of grand final contention when they were beaten by McLaren continuing the tradition that minor premiers rarely win in the decider.
