DESPITE numbers being well down last Saturday thanks to the mixed 4BBB, six women played in a stableford event, with Judy Kroek the winner with an excellent score of 37 points.

Kroek went out scoring 17 points and came home with 20 points despite having a miss on the 17th, sinking a great putt on the 18th for a four-point hole.

Runner-up was Gloria Brown, with 32 points and Kath Gullifer scored the only ball voucher.

Last Wednesday there were 29 players, with Robyn Kennett taking out first place in division one with an easy 35 points, while Judy Leeson kept pace scoring 34 points to come second.

Division two saw a great tussle between Madge Calabria and Dale Spence after both scored 30 points. Calabria was the eventual winner.

Anne Forrest had the win in division three having had 31 points, while Mary Gifford showed promise coming second with 29 points. There were eight ball vouchers and the score needed was 28 points on a countback.
