THE Country Cup titles for the Griffith and District competition continue to stack up after the region's under 14 boys side wrapped up its representative season with an impressive undefeated record.
After cleaning up at the branch titles, the Griffith side then took the fight to the best the rest of NSW had to offer in the greasy conditions in Albury.
First up the team started strongly against Southern, dominating possession for the majority of the game but was unlucky a number of times and finished the game nil-all.
Riverina's persistence was rewarded in the second game against Western with a thumping 3-0 win.
On Sunday Griffith recorded two more wins with scorelines of 1-0 over Southern and 3-0 again over Western to run out a convincing Country Cup winner.
The boys played 13 games this season, including five preseason trials, and finished 2010 undefeated, scoring 25 goals and conceding only five.
In the two tournaments they scored 16 goals with only two against, showing their strength from defence through to attack.
