WESTS Soccer Club coach Bryan Salvestro has retained his rotation policy ahead of his side's dangerous clash against Yoogali Football Club (YFC) at Coro Club Oval on Sunday.
Salvestro has been resting some of his stars in recent weeks and handing several of the club's reserve grade players their golden ticket to prove they should be a part of the Magpies' finals campaign.
"We're still going to mix it up a bit. It's good to give the younger guys a bit of experience, especially at a faster pace, so I'll be bringing more reserve graders up to see how they go and which are good to take to the finals," Salvestro said.
"I'm looking to take Greg Hilton and Hayden Marlin into the finals, they're playing with great confidence and it would be wrong of me not to give them a chance.
"Everyone's quietly confident and everyone seems to be calm and relaxed, there's no pressure to win it, we just need to go out there and have fun."
James Robson (ankle) will again sit out against YFC as the Wests leader looks ahead to who their first round rival is, with the scenario of YFC or Hanwood FC sitting well with the coach.
"If we win we play YFC again, if we lose we play Hanwood, so a draw would be as good as a win for us," he said.
YFC snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat last weekend against Yoogali Soccer Club, with Matt Lando's close-range header giving the men in gold a share of the points.
Coach Pat Ciampa said the mistakes at the back, which led to both of the goals scored against them, need to be eliminated now otherwise they could come back to haunt the side when their season is on the line.
"We need to win to make second so we've got everything to play for but they (Wests) are an in-form side and we'll be respecting that when we go out there," Ciampa said.
"We made some silly mistakes last week and if you make them against any of the top four they're going to punish you for it, we need to tighten that up.
"The boys are ready to go and time will tell."
