DESPITE failing to pick up a victory, Griffith’s three Kookaburra Cup representatives will be better for the experience, according to team officials.
Riverina completed its lopsided campaign last week, losing its three pool games during the tournament.
But the news was more positive for Griffith’s Logan Matheson, Liam Greenaway and Luke Docherty who all made valuable contributions towards the team.
Logan was neat with his work behind the stumps, taking several sharp chances and pulling off several stumpings.

In Riverina’s first game, it was defeated by Western to the tune of 41 runs, with Luke claiming an excellent 3-16 off eight overs with three maidens.
Liam chipped in with 2-16 off 10 overs.

Greenaway snared two early wickets in Southern’s innings, with Matheson getting in on the act behind the stumps as he whipped off the bails for two stumpings.
