PCYC offers kids a shot at archery

Ben Pawson will be running the classes using his 15 years of experience in the sport to teach children all of the skills needed to hit the bullseye.

Pawson will also have his brother and another experienced archer at his disposal so children will receive detailed knowledge of all of the skills that archery requires.

“At the moment the classes will run on Tuesday nights from 6pm at the club for kids seven and up,” Pawson said.

“If we get more kids then we may have to run a Thursday session, but the classes are open to anybody who wants to have a go.”

Only members of the PCYC are able to take part in the classes but all of the equipment needed is provided on the night.

Pawson said he is excited about having archery back on the sporting landscape after the only local range was closed around five years

ago.

For more information or to register interest in the classes, contact Ben Pawson on 0438 618 568.
